Outside In Tour Guides -- Ron

Ron Ron has been a licensed New York City tour guide since the mid 1970's. His multi-lingual skills developed as a toddler he had 2 grandmothers who could not converse with each other so he would interpret between the two of them and mastered German & French.

He had an older cousin who always came back from long overseas trips and that turned Ron to travel. He became a Tour Manager for Thomas Cook in the 1970's and in Spring and Summer took many cross country tours (3 weeks each) with tri-lingual groups. Winter season meant a 3 month cruise on the Queen Elizabeth on trips around the world.

Returning to New York Ron had a restaurant in the East Village where he now resides and for close to 10 years in the 1990's he was the daily bi-lingual guide doing New York City bus tours simultaneously in French and German for Gray Line

Ron is now a grandfather - two lovely granddaughters live in Germany. He met the mother of his son on one of his cross country tours.

This well traveled and experienced guide also speaks Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew but is most comfortable conducting tours in French, German and English.
